PMUnwind: PLAY THE PROJECT
PLAY THE PROJECT is a new PMI OVOC networking experience designed to bring together Ottawa-Gatineau’s Francophone project management community.
For this first edition, Stakeholders & Influence, participants will be immersed in scenarios inspired by real project environments: challenging stakeholders, decisions under pressure, strategic communication, and influence. Through challenges, small-group discussions, and a social activity, participants will be encouraged to speak up, defend a decision, share their experience, and meet new people.
The goal? To learn without attending a traditional training session, network beyond the usual small talk, and put into practice the skills that truly make a difference on a project.
Over the course of two hours, you will be invited to step outside your comfort zone, think critically, make your case, collaborate, and, most importantly, build meaningful connections with other project management professionals and enthusiasts.

About Our Speaker — Benjamin Guillaume Camara
Benjamin Guillaume Camara is a civil engineer and infrastructure project management professional with more than six years of experience in road design, planning, and the coordination of complex projects.
He currently serves in a PMO role supporting the Director General of the Administration et Contrôle des Grands Projets (ACGP) in Guinea, where he contributes to the strategic oversight of major projects, technical coordination, performance reviews, and the development of decision-support tools, notably within the Simandou 2040 program. His career also includes responsibilities in transport and infrastructure project management, as well as road engineering studies and coordination among technical teams.
Alongside his professional work, he shares his expertise as a lecturer at Kofi Annan University of Guinea, where he supervises road design projects and final-year theses. His experience in communication, project management, and cross-sector coordination makes him a particularly relevant speaker for a conversation on stakeholders, influence, and leadership in projects.
