About the Symposium

The future of project management is being shaped right now — by new ideas, evolving technologies, changing expectations, and, most importantly, the people who lead projects forward.

The 2026 PMI Ottawa Valley Outaouais Chapter's Kingston Symposium, hosted by the Kingston Branch, brings together project professionals, business leaders, students, and community partners for a day of inspiration, practical learning, meaningful conversations, and connection.

The Kingston Symposium also serves as the pre-event to the PMI Ottawa Valley Outaouais Chapter’s Flagship Conference in November 2026, setting the stage for a broader conversation about the future of project leadership across our professional community.

Whether you’re leading a complex project, building a high-performing team, navigating change, or simply looking for fresh perspectives, this Symposium is designed to help you think differently, connect meaningfully, and leave with ideas you can put into practice.

Through inspiring speakers, engaging discussions, interactive workshops, and opportunities to connect with fellow professionals, we’ll explore three critical dimensions of the future of project leadership.

Innovation in Practice

Turn ideas into impact.

Discover how emerging technologies, new ways of thinking, and innovative approaches are transforming the way projects are planned, delivered, and experienced.

Building Resilient Teams

Build teams that thrive.

Explore the people, relationships, and practices that create resilient teams — teams that can adapt to challenges, learn from setbacks, and continue to deliver when it matters most.

Leading Through Change

Lead with confidence.

Gain perspectives and practical strategies to help you navigate uncertainty, inspire your teams, and turn change and disruption into opportunities for growth.

Come ready to learn. Come ready to connect. Come ready to forge the future.
