Presentation Title
Lunch & Learn | The Hybrid PMO Shift: Transforming How Organizations Execute
Session Abstract
Hybrid PMOs are no longer a temporary response to disruption. They have become a durable operating model for how organizations deliver value, align work, and lead people across locations, tools, and time zones.
In this session, we’ll explore how the Hybrid Project Management Office (HPMO) is evolving across the three core components of a PMO: Project, Management, and Office. Just as a hybrid vehicle combines two modes of power (an internal combustion engine and electric motor), a Hybrid PMO relies on dual functionalities within hybrid project resources, hybrid management models and hybrid office structures to increase flexibility and improve delivery outcomes.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Hybrid project resources, enabling geographic flexibility and global talent distribution
- Hybrid management models, improving efficiency through AI-enabled tools and automation
- Hybrid office structures, redefining workplaces through technology-driven infrastructure and human-centric design
Rather than focusing only on structure, this session emphasizes the leadership shift required to make hybrid work: how to govern without slowing execution, how to drive adoption of enabling tools, and how to support delivery teams without adding overhead. Attendees will leave with practical ways to assess their current PMO maturity and identify next steps toward a hybrid model that improves execution.
