Where Strategy, Solutions & Change Create Impact

PMImpact 2026
marks the next chapter in PMI Ottawa Valley Outaouais Chapter's flagship event experience—building on PMRise, PMEvolve, and PMThrive and taking an important step forward.

On November 27, 2026, at the Rogers Centre in Ottawa, we're bringing together the people and professions that turn strategy into solutions, solutions into successful delivery, and change into lasting results.

Because project success takes more than project management.

Today's most important initiatives don't succeed through one profession, methodology, or perspective alone. Success happens when project professionals work alongside business analysts, change leaders, consultants, executives, technologists, product and agile practitioners, PMO leaders, and other professionals who each contribute a critical part of the solution.

PMImpact 2026 is where those perspectives come together.

Hosted by the PMI Ottawa Valley Outaouais Chapter in collaboration with professional associations and community partners, PMImpact creates a cross-disciplinary environment for learning, challenging assumptions, building relationships, and exploring one important question:

What does project success look like now?

Whether you manage projects, define business needs, lead organizational change, advise organizations, enable transformation, work in a PMO, lead teams, or simply make things happen—there is a place for you at PMImpact.

Three Professional Streams. One Shared Outcome.

PMImpact 2026 will feature three dedicated professional streams, complemented by a Francophone journey that brings perspectives from across the program together.

  • BUSINESS ANALYSIS — From Need to Solution
Examine how business analysis, strategic thinking, requirements, value definition and solution design help organizations solve the right problems—not simply deliver more outputs.
  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT — From Strategy to Delivery
Explore how project, program, portfolio and PMO professionals are evolving the way organizations turn strategy into execution, value and successful outcomes.

  • CHANGE MANAGEMENT — From Solution to Adoption
Discover how leadership, culture, communication, stakeholder engagement and organizational change turn delivered solutions into adopted, sustained and meaningful results.

  • PARCOURS FRANCOPHONE
Un parcours en français intégrant la gestion de projet, l'analyse d'affaires et la gestion du changement—offering Francophone professionals a dedicated experience while connecting to the broader PMImpact conversation.

Across these streams, attendees will encounter emerging topics shaping the future of project work and project success—including Artificial Intelligence, Agile, Product Management, PMOs, sustainability, social impact, major projects, strategy, consulting, technology and leadership.

What to Expect at PMImpact 2026

Powerful Keynotes: Hear from leaders and thinkers who will challenge conventional definitions of project success and explore what it takes to turn strategy into meaningful impact.

Three Professional Learning Streams: Build your day around Project Management, Business Analysis and Change Management—or move between them to expand your perspective.

Cross-Profession Impact Sessions: Experience conversations that deliberately bring multiple disciplines together around the same challenge. What happens when a Project Manager, Business Analyst and Change Leader tackle the same problem from different perspectives.

Real Impact Stories: Go beyond theory with practitioner stories, case studies and lessons from initiatives that succeeded, struggled, adapted—and ultimately created impact.

AI, Innovation & What's Next: Explore how AI, emerging technology and evolving ways of working are changing how we define, deliver and measure project success.

Francophone Programming: Participate in dedicated French-language programming connecting project management, business analysis and change management.

Professional Community Connections: Meet professionals from PMI and participating professional associations and communities—expanding your network beyond any one discipline.

Networking With Purpose: Build relationships with professionals, leaders, speakers, partners and organizations from Ottawa-Gatineau, Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec and beyond.

Why PMImpact?

Because delivering the project isn't the finish line.

A project can meet its schedule and budget and still fail to create the intended value. A technically strong solution can fail without adoption. Transformation can stall when strategy, requirements, delivery and change operate independently.

PMImpact is designed to connect those pieces.

Come to:
  • Expand your perspective beyond your own professional discipline
  • Explore new approaches to project success, value and impact
  • Learn from Project Management, Business Analysis and Change Management practitioners
  • Understand how AI and PMI's emerging Content & Innovation areas are reshaping project work
  • Build relationships across professional associations and industries
  • Discover practical ideas, tools and approaches you can bring back to your organization
  • Earn professional development credits where applicable
  • Connect with potential collaborators, employers, clients, mentors and community leaders

More Than a PMI Conference

PMImpact is hosted by PMI Ottawa Valley Outaouais, but the conversation belongs to everyone who contributes to project success.

We're working with professional associations and communities across disciplines to create an event where expertise isn't confined to separate professional silos.

Business Analysis helps us define the right solution.
Project Management helps us deliver it successfully.
Change Management helps people adopt and sustain it.

And when those capabilities come together:

Strategy + Solutions + Change = Impact.
