PMI OVOC Annual Business Meeting 2020

Strategic Business Management skills

Overview:

The May 7th, 2020 Annual Business Meeting is complimentary and exclusively for members of the PMI OVOC.  The purpose of this meeting is to introduce you to the newly appointed 2020 Board of Directors, explain OVOC operations and to provide a networking opportunity to meet with other chapter members.  

Why Attend:

  • Let your voice be heard - help us by attending and providing your input to the Chapter operations. 
  • Learn about the PMI OVOC 2019 successes and what is in store for 2020.
  • Enjoy some refreshments while networking with fellow members.
  • Win a Door Prize! (among other great prizes, you could win a free pass for a Lunch Seminar, Saturday Seminar or a half-price pass to this year's Symposium.
  • If you’re PMP certified, you can earn one (1) PDU under Strategic and Business Management as it pertains to The PMI Talent Triangle®.
  • PMI OVOC will register PDUs for you.

Members Motions:

  • Motions received via email (send to registrar@pmiovoc.org) by April 26th, 2020, will be prepared in slide format for presentation, discussion and voting onsite at the ABM.  All motions received after this date and at the meeting will be read to the membership for discussion and voting.
  • Only "seconded" motions will be considered at the meeting.

  • Proxy Votes - If you cannot attend the ABM and would like to submit a proxy vote please click here to download the file and submit it to registrar@pmiovoc.org by April 30, 2020.

ABM Documents:

The PMI OVOC 2019-12-31 Financial Statements will be ready soon.  At that time we will notify members that the documents have been uploaded if a member wishes to review them.  Members will need to log in to the PMI OVOC member website, once logged in under the Member Menu, click on the PMI OVOC financial statements to open the file.

FEE: 

FREE for PMI OVOC Members.

DRESS:

Business Casual. (No jeans or hats of any kind at the Mess)

SCHEDULE:

4:00 PM Registration Check-in and Networking. The RCAF Officers' Mess bar is open.

4:30 PM Light snacks available on buffet table.

5:00 PM Annual Business Meeting begins.

6:00 PM Annual Business Meeting ends.

6:00 - 6:30 Prize Draw, More Networking, Light Snacks on buffet table.

REFRESHMENTS:

Light snacks and coffee will be available.
