The webinar will further provide information on building a resume and cover letter, launching yourself with LinkedIn, interview strategies, and how to stay motivated in a job search.

Vinica Mordani is a Certified Associate in Project Management, with over 2+ years of experience working on various HR and Corporate projects. She currently plays a hybrid role as a Human Resources Professional at United Way East Ontario. She provides project management support to her Senior Directors Team on various strategic initiatives from managing the implementation of organization-wide project management software, planning, and implementing engagement activities under the spectrum of change management and HR to acting as an ally on the Equity, Diversity, Belongingness, and Inclusion Committee of her organization, Vinica continues to create an IMPACT through her work.

In addition to that, Vinica has served the PMI OVOC Chapter since 2019 under the Programs Portfolio, where she oversaw most of the aspects of event implementation, improved virtual onboard and offboard experience of our volunteers, devised and deployed processes to boost long-term business success and team’s productivity while also managing and mentoring a team of 4 volunteers.

Outside of work, Vinica has continued her journey as an advocate of human rights, gender equality and mental health awareness through various platforms. Currently, Vinica is a Board Member of a non-profit organization – "In Our Tongues" which is Ottawa’s first Reading and Arts Series dedicated to showcasing, nurturing, and advancing Black, Indigenous and People of Colour poets, writers, musicians and other artists, including those with different abilities, across the gender spectrum, and from both English and French-speaking communities.

Parth Shah is a Project Manager at SEOPLUS+, Ottawa, and a Project Management Professional for more than 5 years with a collective experience of 10 years. He has held positions as a Project Manager and Product Manager and played key roles in game-changing business operations, improving project delivery experiences, successful resource and stakeholder management strategies.

Out of his corporate job, he is always actively involved in providing volunteer service, as he strongly believes in giving back to the community. He has volunteered as a Project Manager at TEDx Ottawa and DevOps Community Canada. He has been associated with PMI OVOC for the past couple of years and has been an active volunteer with multiple positions as an information management volunteer and as a secretariat.
