About Speaker:

 

Anne is a Senior Manager within KPMG’s Lean Services practice and an accomplished Project Manager who has been leading diverse and complex projects in the public sector for over 20 years.  Anne has a master’s degree in leadership from the Lang School of Business at the University of Guelph, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and PROSCI Change Management professional, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.  Anne helps her clients manage risk and improve processes so they can focus on their core business. By intimately understanding each client’s business and processes, she converts information into insights to uncover opportunities to improve operational efficiency and performance by applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

 

 

Session Abstract:

 

In project management, distinguishing between value-adding and non-value-adding activities is pivotal for efficiency and success.  This session will delve into strategies for identifying these activities and implementing measures to eliminate waste.  By employing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and process mapping, participants will learn practical techniques to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and enhance project outcomes.  Through real-world examples and interactive discussions, attendees will gain valuable insights into fostering a culture of continuous improvement, driving productivity, and maximizing project value.
