Advancing the Profession of Project Management
As part of our long standing tradition of promoting project management knowledge and skills, OVOC is pleased to announce the following events to its membership. These events offer an excellent opportunity to increase your project management skills, meet and network with members of the program management community, and earn valuable PDUs.
PMI OVOC Seeking Assistance of a Bookkeeper
PMI OVOC is seeking the services of a bookkeeper to assist with financial operations of the Chapter. The current service provider will be terminating their contract in June 2014. The new service provider must start work in May 2014.
The bookkeeper will keep financial records that track the organization’s expenditures, profit and loss, cash flow, and other financial activities and will provide reports to monitor these items as requested by the PMI OVOC Treasurer.
Interested parties should have significant experience in providing bookkeeping services to medium sized non-profit organizations. The Chapter hosts up to 30 events per year, has one paid staff and maintains a breakeven budget with ~$500k of revenue & expenses. All work must be performed or supervised by an individual holding a recognized designation. Service personnel assigned to the contract must be fluent in English.
