ABM 2012
The Annual Business Meeting and Dinner Event had a record attendance of 94 members and 77 Proxy Votes, followed by 91 Members and Non-Members who participated in the evening’s event of fine dining, entertainment, door prizes and social networking. It was a great opportunity for all to mingle with newly appointed Board of Directors and to socialize with other fellow chapter associates.
Dinner Guest Speaker
Entertainment was provided by guest speaker Craig Dowden from André Filion & Associates Inc who presented an interactive performance entitled “Don’t worry be Happy”. This presentation provided an overview of what the evidence tells us about the benefits of happiness, as well as the most effective strategies to maximize positive feelings. Using classic and cutting-edge research, we learned about the scientifically supported motivators of well-being, including how this information can be applied within your own personal and professional lives.
